Qualifications
- Bachelor or master diploma in Marketing, business administration or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in marketing, including a minimum of 1 year experience with employer branding
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English. Proficiency in German is an advantage
- Proactive, able to work independent, detail oriented and client focused
- Superior project management skills
- Knowledge of relevant marketing tools and applications
- Your marketing expertise, open mind, and creativity, allow you to find new opportunities to communicate about Scylla.
- Willingness and flexibility to occasionally travel to our vessels and events throughout Europe.

Main tasks and responsibilities
As Marketing and Employer Branding Specialist, you will be working on a variety of internal and external projects and campaigns. Your responsibilities include managing Scylla’s social media marketing and collaborating with HR to enhance our employer branding. As a true brand ambassador, you’ll be sharing authentic and relevant stories of our employees and preparing internal communications to foster knowledge sharing and connection between our vessels and various offices, including driving brand awareness. This position requires close collaborations with HR, and several operational departments. Around 80% of your workload will concern employer branding, the other 20% will be dedicated to marketing for Scylla’s corporate brand.
- Conception, creation and coordination of internal and external marketing and employer branding projects.
- Development and implementation of the social media strategy for Scylla’s corporate brand, including content creation and management of Scylla’s career pages.
- Create, translate, edit content, and advise about the look and feel of Scylla’s corporate website and career page in line with Scylla’s corporate identity.
- Actively support HR with employer branding projects like:
- Research job markets in various EU countries and find the best practices to build Scylla’s employer brand for on board positions (nautical, hotel, galley and technical)
- Create on- and offline job advertisements in various EU countries, analyze the results with HR and amend strategy accordingly to reach desired target groups.
- Organize onboard recruitment days and prepare our attendance at recruitment fairs throughout Europe.

- Create marketing materials such as short clips, videos, photoshoots, testimonials, presentations, booklets, graphics and promotion materials for job events.
- Set up initiatives to establish and promote internal communication and knowledge sharing, between the various departments, offices and vessels.
- Prepare printed materials such as business cards, bar menus, folders and other materials used on board.
- Organize and coordinate corporate events, including meetings, conferences, trade shows, test sails, and christenings of newly built vessels.

- Identify marketing trends and key opportunities for innovation.
- • You are reporting directly to our Group CCO and collaborate with different teams and partners, like our external graphic designers.
