Your Profile
Given the diversity of projects and collaboration with various disciplines, we are seeking a Marine Engineer/Naval Architect who thrives on challenges and variety. Additionally, we are looking for someone with:
- A Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in shipbuilding.
- Strong organizational skills, able to maintain an overview and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to make decisions, resolve conflicts, delegate, and promote a positive work culture.
- Native-level proficiency in English.
- Knowledge of AutoCad and Rhino 3D.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Marine Engineer in the New Build department, you will be responsible for designing and coordinating the construction of the hull of the ship. You will translate the general plan and integrate technical installations from the engine room, HVAC, to sewage treatment into the necessary shipbuilding plans. You will then oversee the construction to ensure the hull is delivered within the specified deadline and budget, meeting our high-quality standards.
- You translate the general plan into a ship design, initiating and contributing to integrating the latest innovations into the ship design.
- You are knowledgeable about the regulations involved in shipbuilding and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- You review and approve drawings before they go into production.
- You oversee the entire project, closely monitoring the schedule, budget, and progress.
- You act as the liaison with shipyards and coordinate contact with various subcontractors for necessary drawings and supplies.
- You consider project risks, evaluate projects along the way, and make adjustments as necessary.
- You visit shipyards, suppliers, and trade shows domestically and internationally.
- In addition to new build projects, you also coordinate renovation projects within our current fleet. You report directly to our CEO and collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
