As the captain, you are the official representative on board for Scylla. You have overall responsibility for all matters concerning the safety of the vessel, passengers and crew, environmental protection and an overall smooth and efficient operation of the vessel.
You are responsible for the safe operation and navigation of the vessel in accordance with applicable rules and regulations, as well as the coordination of crew activities, work schedules and free day planning. You also ensure that the nautical team on board knows, understands and fully complies with statutory regulations and company policies and procedures.
Your Profile

Good command of German and/or English language -
Valid captain licenses for Rhine, Danube or both*

Experience on river cruise ships

VHF & Radar licenses

Certificates for Safety expert, first aid and/or BDO are a plus

Hospitality-oriented personality representative appearance
