Key duties include:

Independent management of your galley station -
Professional preparation, portioning, and presentation of meals in line with daily menus

Monitoring and maintaining food quality and hygiene standards (HACCP & Scylla Gastro)

Supporting with stock checks, inventory, and order placements
-
Ensuring safety, cleanliness, and organization of your kitchen area
-
Cooperating with the Maître d’Hotel and service teams for smooth operation

Night duty availability depending on the ship’s requirements
Your Profile

Minimum 4 years of culinary experience with strong knowledge of food prep, presentation, and kitchen operations
-
Degree in culinary arts or hospitality is a strong plus
-
Previous experience on river cruise ships is preferred

Strong team player, calm under pressure, flexible and proactive attitude
-
Professional, reliable, with a well-groomed appearance and high standards
-
Fluent in English (written and spoken); German or other languages are a plus
-
Guest-oriented with high social and cultural awareness
-
Capable of working independently and efficiently, especially during service hours

Computer skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
