Düsseldorf

Lifestyle on the Rhine

There is a wealth of attractions worth seeing and experiencing between the cheerfulness of the Rhine and cosmopolitan charm. With the elegant Königsallee and Schadowstrasse, the Rhine metropolis is considered a perfect shopping destination. It is only a few steps to the historic old town on the Rhine – with its 260 pubs known as the “longest bar in the world”. The Rheinuferpromenade leads into the middle of the media harbor, which architects such as Frank O. Gehry and David Chipperfield have made into a popular address for architecture connoisseurs from all over the world.

The Rhine Tower provides an ideal view over “city, country and river”.

Düsseldorf is also a top address for modern and contemporary art in Germany. The art mile with its top-class museums, the renowned art academy and more than 100 galleries represent this claim.

The destination Düsseldorf is also suitable as a port of disembarkation or re-embarkation to the numerous excursion destinations in the surrounding area.
